The bare necessities of life are food, clothing, shelter and transportation. Living independently is one of our home care goals. However, some older adults no longer drive themselves due to age or other reasons. If they reside far away from public transportation routes, "walking" may not be a viable option. The problem of travel causes various inconveniences in everyday life. It can even affect social connections and make them disconnected from their community. Therefore, transportation services are an essential part of aged care services.
Chung Wah Community Care (Chung Wah CC) 's transportation team works hard daily to provide senior consumers and people living with disabilities with the best pick-up service. Having the ability to reserve transportation service allows seniors to travel to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, local events, and Chung Wah Community Hubs easily.
"Are you satisfied with Chung Wah CC's transportation service? "
Chung Wah CC strived to provide the best quality of care service. Therefore, we perform surveys and feedback analysis regularly. Understanding the data and the client's feedback allows us to continuously improve and plan accordingly.
Therefore, in March and April, Chung Wah CC's Balcatta Hub and Willetton Hub conducted surveys with 64 senior consumers to understand their experiences with transportation services.
