Mark your calendars for a spectacular celebration! The 13th '2024 Perth Chinese New Year Fair' is set to dazzle on February 11th (Sunday) in the vibrant heart of Northbridge.
Proudly brought to you by the Chung Wah Association of Western Australia, this annual extravaganza has been the highlight of WA's cultural calendar since 2012, showcasing the largest and most vibrant display of Chinese traditional culture and Spring Festival joy. This year, we're taking the festivities to new heights and new streets! Join us on James Street, Lake Street, Northbridge Piazza, and Yagan Square for an unforgettable day of colour, culture, and community spirit.
The festival starts at 12 noon and finishes at 9 pm. It is expected to attract over 20,000 participants. Firecracker displays, and the exciting Dragon and Lion dances are signature programs of the festival. Performances rich in Chinese culture will immerse the audience in the festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival. The festival also features rides, food stalls, and various themed booths, making it a great place for families to spend their Sunday.
Chung Wah Community Care (CWCC) continues its mission to share and celebrate Chinese traditional culture with everyone. This year, in the spirit of the joyous Year of the Dragon, we're excited to welcome you to our booth and dive into the celebration with games inspired by Lunar New Year traditions. Plenty of prizes are waiting for you that you won't want to miss. Our friendly staff will also be there to share insights into the aged and disability care services offered by Chung Wah CC, alongside support options for carers. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect, share, and celebrate with the broader community. We can't wait to see you there and spread the joy of this special season together - don't miss out!
