This September, Chung Wah Community Care (CWCC) celebrated the 104th birthday of Mrs. Chu Xiuying, a cherished senior. Mrs Chu, who immigrated to Australia from Malaysia over 40 years ago, is a "centenarian star" at CWCC's Willetton Community Hub.
Despite her age, she actively participates in hub activities, especially her favourite pastime—playing mahjong. Mrs. Chu receives personalized care from CWCC five days a week and engages in social activities at the community hub.
The family deeply values the emotional care provided by CWCC's staff, and Mrs. Chu's daughter, Valerie, has also become a client of CWCC.
Geraldine, Mrs. Chu's granddaughter, has benefited from CWCC's Carer Gateway program, receiving respite care and participating in supportive workshops. CWCC's comprehensive care has enhanced the lives of three generations, empowering the family to move forward with renewed vitality.
